In collaboration with the NGO Confederation Community Development Initiative Program, recently launched a transformative project aimed at empowering women through mobility. The “Women on Wheels” project focuses on providing two-wheelers to women at a 50% beneficiary share, significantly enhancing their independence and access to opportunities. The program was inaugurated by Ottapalam MLA, Adv. M.K. Premkumar, who spoke passionately about the importance of women’s empowerment and the role of mobility in enhancing their social and economic participation. He commended ICDC and the NGO Confederation for their visionary approach in addressing the transportation challenges faced by women.
